Rental Cars-best rates??

Does anyone know if you book a rental car through the Disney Reservation Number if they have discounts on rental cars? Or do you do better going directly to the car rental websites and use some of the codes on Mousesavers???

Looking for a good rate for Aug. 21-28 on a full size car......anybody know of a good deal??

I booked on Alamo's website after trying all the sites availble. I think booking directly from individual sites gets you the best deal. There is a website that offers codes for all the rental sites, it's rentalcodes.com. Try there and try a few sites to get the best deal. I used rate code Q1 on Alamo's site and got a full size car for 4/29-5/3 for $141 including taxes and extras. When checking prices be sure to check and make sure they include the taxes and extras sometimes the first price they give you is just the rental base price. If you proceed to check out it'll give you the full price. Good Luck!!

I've typically gotten the best deals on Priceline. I get the lowest rate I can find using the Mousesavers discount codes and then bid below that. The only time I haven't gotten my bid accepted was at Christmas. I usually get Alamo or Avis, although I've gotten Hertz and National too. It's always a name brand and usually onsite, except for Hertz (but their shuttle service is excellent).
