I have a question about rental cars. Last year, we did the 4 day Wonder. We rented a car, drove to our hotel on Cocoa Beach, and were able to park the car free at the hotel for the duration of the cruise, then drove back home in the same car. It ended up being cheaper that way than turning the car in and then re-renting for the trip home. But we're going on a 7 day next year, and it will be more economical to rent a car for the trip there, then re-rent for the trip back.
SOOOO...here are my questions:

Do any of the rental companies have Port Canaveral locations? And if not, which are the closest, and where are they?

I have PLENTY of time to worry about the details, but I'm just so excited. My family and friends think I'm crazy to be so excited about a vacation that's over a year away!!! But after the absolutely WONDERful time we had on the 4-day, I know what I'm missing now, and I cannot wait!!!! :Pinkbounc

Anyway, back to the original subject...LOL...any rental car help would be appreciated. Thanks!:wave2:

Heck no, a year is not too early to start planning.

I have only used Hertz but Avis and Budget are also in close proximately to port and will do the shuttle thing.

If you thought the 4 day was great you will love the 7 day.

Thanks for your info, and your reassurance that I'm not insane for thinking about the details so far in advance...;)

Dave...your website is amazing!! Is there a SINGLE detail that you didn't cover? I don't think so! Thanks for having such a wonderful resource!!!
