Rental Car Woes....

Since the extension of my stay last night ( like Im really complaining! ) Ive been thinking about my rental car....

Does anyone have handy dandy tips for renting a car? How long should i wait to reserve (better rates, closer to the date? - September 23 is when Ill need it) Best places to rent from?

Anything and everything you could provide me, Ill be super greatful!

I got a minivan through Dollar for $160 for the week through Southwest because I then got Southwest frequent flier points for it. Anything to help towards another flight to Orlando!

Prices can vary daily...even hourly sometimes. Check each companie's own website as well as all travel sites and compare prices. Sometimes when you get to close the prices can go up. Sometimes down. A really, really good price for a full size car for a week is $100.00. A compact for a week at $69 is great.
