Which car rental companies have a pick up @ MCO and return @ DTD or other WDW location? Any that don't charge for the alternate drop off location?

Is there a list somewhere that shows WDW area rental car site hours?
We hope to avoid paying for extra hours but just knowing how late we can drop off would be helpful (really rather not do it next morn).

We will be arriving @ WDW after touring KSC and then checking in @ Pop so any advice specific to this is appreciated.
thanks!

You could rent from Alamo/National, and return the car to the Dolphin. I understand - although I've never experienced it - that you return rental to the Valet station after hours.

Alamo/National have 2 locations: the Dolphin and the Car Care Center near MK. The Dolphin's hours are limited to 8am-4pm, but rentals can be returned after those hours to valet - they will give you a hand-written receipt when you return there. The CCC has longer hours (until 6pm?) and also has shuttle service that will pick-up/drop-off at your resort.

There are other rental car companies at some of the DTD hotels although I have never used any of them.

HTH!!! :teeth:

I have a question about renting through Disney. I called reservations today, and she said that they add the car rental fee on to your vacation package. No problem. So we pay for the care rental up front.

But the CM also told me I would need to call Alamo to see if they reserve an amount on our credit card. I called and asked, they said that they do not reserve an amount. They just charge fees and taxes that Disney did not initially collect for the rental ($50. to $60.).

Any other car rental place in Orlando either puts the amount of your rental PLUS 15% reserve on your card, or a min of $500. reserve on your credit card.

Has anyone done this before? They guy at Alamo didn't sound sure of his answer. And I don't want to pay $200. or more for this car rental up front, then only to have that amount plus a little more reserved on my credit card until I turn in the car at the end of our trip. I would rather spend that in the gift shops! :)

Also, if you rent through Disney, do you have to use the Disney Rental Car Care Center or can you pick up the car at MCO?
