We are going to Orlando from the UK this spring as an extended family of 7 people including two seniors and lots of luggage. We have hired an 8-seater from Dollar, probably a Chevy Astravan. On our way back for the flight home to England, we will be arriving about 3 hours at least before the flight, approachng the MCO airport from its south access road. I would like some tips on the most convenient procedure to follow. (We are flying with Virgin). Should I drop off the others with the luggage close to the check-in area and then drive around to return the car before rejoining them? Or is it better to return the car at the first opportunity and then take everything and everybody with me to the check-in? The latter would be preferable if there were trolleys at the car return area as this would keep us all together. But I don't fancy having to drag the luggage all the way on our own steam.
