Rental Car Rates for November now Lower

Just wanted to mention that rental car rates for both Alamo and National have dropped alot for pickups starting in November. My daughter needs on for a pick up in October, and the rates are high and the coupons don't work, but if I change to pickup in November then the rates are well under $200. We may consider this option of not getting the rental until the next day. (just thinking outside the box). If you haven't checked your rentals lately, you better take a look now.

I always try to book National and have good luck with codes 5007125 or 5007160. There are also some coupons online too that seem to work. I just don't know what's up with October.

Just wanted to mention that the base rates for October have come down slightly too. I still get a better deal if I pick up on Nov. 1 vs Oct. 31. But October rentals will still not accept coupons and November rentals will. This is so strange this year. I'm still 11 days away, so will be watching for more changes.

I've found the same thing. My weekly rate dropped (National) but will not accept $ off coupons. It will accept upgrade. I got midsize for the week at 223.65 including all taxes.
