Rental Car Rates for 2006

Has anyone gotten any really good deals yet for 2006. Seems like a lot of the coupons, etc. expire as of 12/3/05. We are looking for a two week minivan rental and the lowest I'm getting is $552. I have an SUV rented for $380, but would like to change to a minivan.

Most companies haven't released codes for 2006 yet, although there are a few available at www.rentalcodes.com or www.bnm.com/joe.htm I made a reservation for next April and plan to keep checking back to see if I can lower it. It happens, but you have to be persisent in checking and requoting.

Nope. Nothing good that I've seen yet. We need seating for 8 and we're flying into Tampa. So far, the lowest price I've found is an 8-passenger minivan with Alamo for a total of $725 for 2 weeks. I went ahead and reserved, but I'm hoping we can get that lower.
