rental car rate help!

This is not disney related, but I just booked a last minute trip to Washington DC with 2 dd's and need a car for a week. Does anyone have any tips on good rates for a minivan or SUV? I thought I'd ask the experts Also any must visits in and around DC? MY dd's are 5 and 3.

Budget has a $229. per week deal on mini vans right now with a AAA card.

Also, you could look at all the rental deals at travelzoo.com.

My kids favorite thing in D.C. (2nd favorite if you count the pool at the hotel) is the National Zoo. It's free, but if you drive you do have to pay to park. It's within walking distance of the metro (several blocks). Here's a link to info. on the different Smithsonian Museums http://www.si.edu/ ~ there's also a link on this page to the Zoo.
