Rental Car Question

Hi, I need some help. We will be traveling to Disney in April and staying at the Coronado Springs resort. From there we will stay a few days in the Universal/Sea World area. My question... We will need to rent a car on the departure day from Coronado Springs, what would be the easiest/best way to do this? Pickup a rental at the Dolphin Resort OR at the WDW Car Care Center? Thanks!

If you reserve with Alamo, I believe they have dedicated shuttle busses that will pick you up from WDW resorts and drop you and your lugage at either location.

The location at Dolphin is the closest to CSR, while the Care Care Center is pretty far by comparisson.

I rent from National (also an Alamo desk) and what I usually do is plan on Epcot or MGM the day I'm picking up the car. If coming from these parks you can take the Friendship boats straight to the Dolphin, then just head to the desk in the lobby. You can also walk from either of these parks. Their hours are 8 or 9am to 4pm.

Rental cars are very inexpensive in Orlando. You may want to price out the difference between your entire stay and the few days you need it at the end of your trip.
I have found when I factor in transfer costs to and from airport and a 3-4 day car rental, the full week car rental is always cheaper and less stressful.
I am going in April and got a full week mid size car for $180 (this includes all the taxes). You have to shop around but the rental car deals are out there if you do a little research.
Try Mousesavers.com for rental car codes. I used there codes and saved about $50.

Generally the Car Care Center desk stays open longer than the one at the Dolphin....in case the hours are a factor.
