rental car pick up

Our flight lands at 1:30pm. We are taking Magical Express to BWV and have to pick up rental car at the Dolphin. National at the Dolphin closes at 4pm that day. I will be doing on ling check in . Hoping to get room key, if ready, leave DS 15 and DD 12 there and hoof it to Dolphin. Do I have enough time to get there before they close
Would it be closer?faster for me to take ME to BCV with kids and just walk to Dolphin from there before checking in? BCV is closer to Dolphin than BWV , no?

It's probably about the same distance from the Boardwalk to the Dolphin as it is from the Beach Club. It might be slightly close to go from the Boardwalk. Either way it shouldn't take you very long to get there (maybe 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how fast you walk).

If you that worried, take ME to your resort (sounds like BW), then walk over to the Dolphin, get the car, and then go back and check-in. You can either pick-up the car while you're over at the Dolphin and drive it back to BW or make a second trip to pick it up later. Because you pick up the car from the Dolphin valet, that can happen after the counter has closed.
