Rental car pick up at MCO? Both sides open?

We were at MCO as COVID hit last March. They had closed one side of the rental car pick up/drop off. Can't remember what side, but only 1 side was open.

I am returning in January on SW (A side). Is the rental car garage open on that side?

Yes. It was easy to pick up luggage and head directly to the garage.

When I was there in September side A was the only side open for rental cars.

When we were there in October, only A side was open. When booking our rental for our upcoming December trip, Alamo is still giving the same message on their website (only A side open, B side is closed).

For anyone flying in on B side (like we did), don't stress. Its very easy to walk over to A side after you collect your luggage.
