I'm going to WDW for 3 days, staying at POP, then spending 5 more days in Orlando, staying at a Courtyard. My plan is to check-out of POP in the morning, get a rental car to store my luggage (and use for the rest of the trip), spend the day in the parks, then when I'm done for the day at WDW drive over to Courtyard to check-in for the night.
I have a few questions:
1) I've read that some rental car agencies will pick you up. Is it okay if I have my luggage with me?
2) I know that resort guests get free parking at the parks. If I check-out that morning, do I still get free parking the rest of the day or will I have to pay?
3) Is it safe to leave my luggage in the car all day? I've never heard of cars being broken into at WDW, but I've never really paid attention either since this is the first time I'll be renting a car.
I considered other options like leaving my luggage with bell services all day, or trying to get an early check-in at the Marriott before heading over to the parks, but my plan above seems like the most time efficient approach if it all works out.
