I'm trying to figure out which vehicle we need to rent for our group. We are going to be needing to get from Orlando to Port Canaveral. We are 7 passengers (4 adults, 2 - 14yo, and 1 - 17yo). We arrive in Orlando on Friday night and won't drive to the port until Sunday morning so we would like to have a vehicle on Saturday and Saturday night. I'm thinking as far as luggage goes we'll have 7 suitcases (probably 5 on the large size and 2 on the medium size). I'm hoping by posting this that you all will give me your experiences on the vehicles that you have rented regarding capacity for luggage and passengers and from which agency. I would like to know what kind of rental cars one can expect to get from a specific agency. I've seen the Kia Sedona listed on Hertz....
Kia Sedona or Similar
•7 Passengers
•4 Large Suitcases, 3 Small Suitcases

Is this true to reality or just looks good in print?

We would all like to be together in one vehicle but it may be cheaper for us to rent 2 full size vehicles...:confused3!

I think it's going to be very crowded. Remember that the small suitcaes they are talking about are probably carryon size. So if you have 7 decent size suitcases, a few purses, backpacks etc..... it's going to be a tight fit!

Since you have five large and the website says 4 don't count on it working. Rental car companies tend to be "optomisitic" about the size of thier cars.....
