Rental Car Info Please

I have never rented a car and would need some information. I would like to rent a car in NC to drive to Disneyworld. We are staying for 6 days and plan to use Disney busses once on property. Is there somewhere on property where I can turn in the rental once we arrive and then pick another one up when leaving? I hate to pay for it just to sit in the resort parking lot. If there is some where on property, are shuttles available to take from and to the resorts? Any advice is appreciated.

Disney's Car Care Center (just outside MK) has Enterprise, National, and Alamo. Complimentary shuttle on property available. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/car-care-center/

Other vendors can be found at nearby (although off property) hotels. I think Swan/Dolphin has one, but I can't remember which vender.

Make sure you price out two one ways vs round trip. Rental car companies usually charge more (can be a lot) for one way rentals. The round trip (even if it sits for 6 days) may actually be cheaper.

ETA: When you're searching for drop off locations, make sure you search "Lake Buena Vista, FL", NOT Kissimmee, and DEFINITELY NOT Orlando.

Swolphin is Alamo. Some of the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd also have rental desks.
