I got a rate of $163.50 for a week in Sept - anyone got a better rate? on this includes taxes and fees - the before rate was $119

Which company? I'm still shopping for a good price. The rates @ Alamo have jumped dramatically in the last few days. I should have booked last week when the price was $188 total. Now the cost (without taxes and fees) is close to $250 for the week. :sad2:

:woohoo: Wooooohoooooo! Just on a whim I decided to check out Dollar and lucked out! Using the code found on mousesavers.com from Orlando Magicard (code #oi1054) I rented a compact for a week for $159.30 TOTAL! And Dollar is in-terminal, so that makes it convenient.
I've been kicking myself for not snatching up Alamo's lower rate earlier, and now it's sky high. But this deal from Dollar beats that!
Yep, I'm happy! :yay:

we have two:

Sept. 14-20 pick up 10:30a return 4:30p. so we are charged an additional day sept(21) midsize MCO $154.48 includes all taxes & fees :Pinkbounc

Sept. 14-17 pick up 3:30p- return 3:30p midsize, pick up/drop off at Dolphin $63.24 incl. all taxes & fees

I would love to give Dollar a try because of the selection of their cars. I joined Dollar Express because I got a good rate using American Express but unfortunately I then noticed, it does not include the additional driver so adding that 8.00 a day drives the rate into a non competitive state. When I try the Orlando Magic Card because it includes the additional driver, the rate goes crazy high for my dates in August. :confused3
I have a car reserved with National including the additional driver so I will stick with them.
