Rental car for August

I found a MiniVan for our August trip with Dollar for 9 days for $302. Should I book now of wait till it gets closer. That was the lowest by about $150.

What do you guys think?

I'm definitely not a seasoned traveller, but I don't think it hurts to book now -- you can always cancel if you find a better deal later.

Always book and then cancel if you check and can get a lower rate. They do not charge your credit card so there's no harm in locking in that rate in case the rates go up!

Just book it and keep checking. If the rates come down, book the new rate and cancel the old one.

BOOK NOW! We went last Aug and got one for $350.........then as it got closer one couldnt be had for under $500+.

Mom23, we're also going in August, but need a minivan for two weeks, did you have a discount code, because that's a better than what I found. I'm looking at $221.95 per week via dollar?

Thanks everyone I did book the minivan and I will keep an eye out for lower prices.

Deb, my DH got a corporate rate, but we have to add a day because we will not be returning it till 1:00 pm so I have to add another $51.00 to the price.

Now if I could only get good airfare.
