rental car drop off locations

Hi everyone!

We are looking to rent a car at the airport in Tampa for just one day, and drop it off in Disney. I believe there are two locations right in Disney itself that accept rental car drop offs, the Dolphin, and the Car care center. Does anyone know what car rental companies they service?
Also, wondering where the car care center is. Can anyone enlighten me?

I am assuming that there are also rental returns at some of the nearby hotels in DTD, but we don't want our whole first day to revolve around returning a rental car.

We were planning on having dm-i-l drive us from Tampa, but now she will nto be able to...trying to make other arrangements for our April trip.

They are both Alamo locations at WDW. The car care center is close to the enterance to MK right next to the Hess gas station.

However Avis has a location at the Hilton across the street from DTD which we have used. Just take the bus back to your resort.

There is also a Dollar at the Wyndham across from DTD

Any of these options will take you about the same amount of time to return a car. If you go the Alamo route you will have to wait for the Alamo shuttle van to come and take you back to your resort. And at DTD you will have to wait for the bus to take you back to the resort. So any of them would be a good option just depends on who is cheaper.

Yes, they do, we did a drop off and a rental from the in February, very easy!

So we are renting a car for one day/night to go to Seaworld in November. I have a reservation at the Car Care Center. Am I understanding correctly that they will come pick us up at our resort and take us to the Car Care Center to complete the transaction and pick up the car?

Also, the next morning when we return the car will they give us a ride somewhere? Or is there a bus that stops there?

We've never stayed onsite, just offsite for all our trips so this is new to us. We usually rent a car at the airport and drive all week. We only need it for the one day/night this trip though.

Will they take us to our resort? This will be our HS day, wondering if they can drop us off there

There is no reason to limit yourself to the WDW Dolphin and the Car Care Center.

If you return a National or Alamo car at the WDW Dolphin, you leave it with valet parking. Be sure to tell the valet that you're returning a rental car.
