Rental car discounts?

I waited too long to make a car rental ressie. Does anyone know of any good rate codes we could us? Unfortunately we are going the Easter week and I know discounts are few. Would appreciate any help. Most rates I found are well over 400.00 a week.

have you tried looking at www.mousesavers.com for rental discount codes?
Also, check out the transportation board ~ there are several threads going that refer to discounts at National. The codes in particular that I am using are for National:

Check National Car Rental and click on the "Internet Rate Sale" in the upper left corner of the page. They have full-size for $185/week and minivans for $235/week. When I checked it yesterday for a minivan during the Easter period in Orlando, I was able to pull up that rate. The product rate code was WWEB and it worked better without the Priceless Contract code. Good luck!

I got a good price on a midsized car for March 4-11th with L & M car rentals. They aren't on any of the big discount sites like expedia, orbitz, etc. but without any code at all I am only paying $132.00 for 8 days rental.

I booked through Budget for our Disney Cruise and then afterwards checked Wal-Mart and was able to lower an already good rate even further.

Instead of using their search engine I took their code and went straight to the Budget site.

you might try asking your question on the transportation board. they really know a lot about car rentals. Have you looked at biddingfortravel to see about using priceline? I have never used priceline for car rentals only hotel rooms, but it might be worth a try.
