Rental Car & Arrival Time Question

Probably a stupid question, but...

If our flight arrives at MCO at 7:35 pm, what time do I put for the pick up time for the rental car? Do I use the arrival time? Do I add time to allow for luggage pickup, say, 30 min to an hour?

I asked my husband, who travels a lot for business, but he was no help since he doesn't make the rezzies...

Hi,

I always round to the nearest half hour after I am scheduled to land, so in your case it would be 8:00.

I always add an hour. I am going again in july and my plane lands at 10 a.m. so I have a pickup for 11 a.m. I have always had enough time. Sometimes my luggage is the last to come out, sometimes there is a long line for pickup of the car so an hour is good. It only takes about 15 minutes to get off plane and go to luggage, fyi. I have never had a problem.
