Ok, here is the dilemma. We have a group of 7 going to WDW in Oct. On past trips, we have done Priceline for mini-van rentals, with last year netting one for $22/day. So far, no luck with bids up to $24/day. This year my family of 4 and my mom arrive on Friday 12th and stay through Monday 22nd. My brother and his GF arrive Sunday 14th and leave Friday 19th. On Hotwire, mini vans are available at 27.95/day plus taxes and fees. Or, I can get a full-size car for the 5 of us at 13.95/day, and a compact car for the other two for 10.95/day. Big plus here is that no one has to lose any time going back and forth to the airport to pick up the other two. Any thoughts are appreciated...

Good point about time back and forth to the airport. One thing to consider with two cars is that you may have to pay for parking for each car if you plan to drive to the parks. Just a thought!

Are you staying in WDW or off site? If you are staying in WDW then you don't have to worry about parking fees.....I would go with the 2 vehicles that way you guys have more freedom.

The only downside of 2 cars is that at Shades they charge $5 a day for parking, as I'm sure you already know. Of course parking at the parks is free for SOG guests.

You should try Avis with C031529 AWD or Hertz 1757580 CDP. Both of them offer outstanding rates and anyone can use them. They saved me over $1000 this year alone.
