How do you guarantee a 4 door? looking at Budget and it states 2 or 4 doors

most of the rental companies' fleets are 4 door cars. Converts, Beetles, and some specialty cars are 2 door. Best bet, call them and ask to have a 4 door preference noted on your reservation.

I would call after I made the reservation as they need a number to add your request. I don't know Budget's online reservation form. Since I work for Alamo I would not have a need to access that information.

It is very unlikely (like less than 1%) you'll get a 2 door car with a standard reserveration and if you do, just ask to switch into a 4 door. Now if you're booking a convertible, specialty or similar class, that obviously changes things, but if you're just reserving a midsize, standard, full size, etc, you'll almost be guaranteed a four door.
