Which companies allow the spouse to be second driver without fee? All or are there exceptions? Thanks,

I know that if you rent a car through Costco or BJ's you can add a driver for free with Alamo.

Usually Budget allows this. They have the 2 times we have used them. Using them again in 2 weeks.

National is free for a spouse.

We joined the National Emerald Club (free) and the second driver was free.
(Good thing, as dh is the credit card holder and I am the driver )I think the Emerald Club also works with Enterprise.

Alamo Insiders members get free additional driver. Also it's free to join.

National, Enterprise and Alamo are all one company and I'd expect the policy to be the same.
