rent/transfer points question?

Hi- I have transferred/rented some points a few years back,and am looking to do so again this year(Jan 08)- where do If ind info on how best to do this? I can't seem to find it,wondering about how to make payment,and also to check on 'rating' of person I'd be paying,etc.
Not looking for flaws,just how to do it correctly......
sorry-editing also to ask- Do points transeferred retain their original members use year and home resort? Last time we did this, they didn't but from the info i can find, now any transferred points retain info from the transfer-er (?)

Go to rent/trade board...there are "stickies" at the top that will walk you through the process. As far as "ratings", the DIS boards do not have a feedback/rating system....but lots of renters will give references.

Transferred points retain their home resort and UY. You are limited to one transfer in or out a year per contract (a master and multiple add-ons is one contract).
