We had actually looked into the dining plan while our trip was still booked, but then realized it wasn't available to DVC. Once we did the math, it actually was better....since we had a kitchen, we planned on doing most of our breakfasts (except character) in our room, and since we had a toddler, we'd be back in the room for mid-afternoon naps/breaks, so we'd snack then too. We planned on all lunches in the parks. Then, we'd just order appetizers or small, shared meals for dinner if we were at a sit down, since we'd be back in the room somewhat early for DD's bedtime. (We were planning on having an order from wegoshop. They will bring it right to your room!) Also, since we got a Boardwalk view, we had a balcony overlooking the main boardwalk, which was great for us, since our DD might fall asleep early, we could then put her in the bedroom, and close the door, then sit out on the balcony with a glass of wine and some snacks and people watch.
ps - Having a seperate bedroom was really important to us. That way, she could still fall asleep, and we could still stay up and not tip toe around...
Can you tell I'm so sad we can't go??? Oh well, maybe next year!!!
