Rent DVC points and Disney Dining Plan

I am trying to gather information for a surprise trip this December. I was wondering if I rent points from a DVC Member am I able to also do the Disney Dining Plan. Is the price the same and do you pay for it up front or when you arrive in Disney World. We did the plan for the 1st couple of days of our last trip and we loved the freedom it gave us and since we are planning on a Studio this time we wanted to see if we would be able to do the Dining Plan for this trip.

Yes, you can get the Dining Plan. The person you rent from must tell MS to link it into the reservation. You will pay for it when you check in. The only difference is that for the DVC versionof the plan, you do not have to buy yourpark ticket through Disney as part of a package, you may purchase your tickets anywhere you wish.

The price for 2007 is $38.99 per adult and $10.99 per child per night of the reservation. Like the Disney Resort version of the plan, everyone in the room MUST be on the plan for the entire length of the reservation.

Yes, as a renter you are able to book the DDP - it has to be booked before arrival and paid for upon check in. Yes, the price is the same for everyone.

Yes - you may purchase the DP if you rent points.

The price is the same as through CRO.

The DVC owner must add the DP to your points reservation before you arrive.

You pay for it at check in. You must purchase it fror eveyone in your party and for every night of your points stay.

You do not have to buy any type of ticket to add the DP to a points reservation.
