We hare going to WDW next Sept with our 2 DS's. They will be 2 years and 5 yrears old at the time. I was wondering if I should take a lightweight stroller for the 2 yr old and rent a single for the other or just rent a double for them? My DH does not want to rent a single b/c then we would still have 2 strollers. I have to be sure if we took our own it is lightweight so it would not be hard getting on and off the busses with a stroller and a kid.

We have a Babytrend stoller right now but the wheels are getting funky and it is sometimes hard to push. I did not want to pay alot of $$$ for a new one b/c this is our last child.

Thanks!

We're doing both . . .

1. A lightweight, umbrella stroller for the airport
2. A jogging stroller (rented through ABBF) for the parks and resorts

Check out the double stroller swap thread going on over at the buget board. I signed up for 1 and it only cost me 10 bucks.

I looked at the threads but I wonder how hard it would be to lug a double stroller on and off the buses. If we rented one at the parks would have our hands free on the buses.

What do the park strollers look like?
Are they comfortable? Do they have room for storage anywhere?

We are bringing our own stroller again. I refuse to spend the money on renting especially since the prices went up. We have brought our stroller the last 2 times we went and it was a pain, but I would rather deal with that then spend over $100 to rent a stroller.

Renting a double will cost you $31 a day. Buying a new stroller is likely to be cheaper if you're there for more than a weekend.
