rent a golf car for the day

Hi! I'd like to rent a golf car for one day while I'm at WDW. I'm planning on driving a lot during that day (it won't be a whole day, more like an afternoon and evening). Will the batteries hold that long?

Before we bought our own golf cart for future visits we rented one from FtW for a week. I charged it maybe once in that time. As long as the batteries are good, you should get a day out of them.

My advice is to plug it in whenever parked either at your site or at various areas around the campground that have electrical outlets such as Pioneer Hall, the Marina parking area, the Outpost bus stop, etc.

Just make sure you make your ressies for that day. Chances are very slim that you would be able to get one at the last minute.

We did that over Christmas last year since we stayed at Boardwalk. Rented for one day and drove around looking at decorations.
The advice to plug in when ever you can is the most important. You cant be sure if the person that turned the cart in last had it charged up. I dont think the bike barn charges them when they are wating to be sent out again.
We did manage to drive it enough to get the low battery light to come on.
A stop for dinner at Trails end gave us time to charge it back up a little and we never had any problems
