We are going to be renting car on our next visit which is on Oct. 27-Nov. 4. Usually when we fly, we just use the transportation, but we want the ease of being able to drive to our ADRs at our own convenience. Anyone have any suggestions for picking up from terminals within MCO and if so any discount codes? I went to Orbitz and they had Thrifty for very cheap, but their reviews weren't that great. Scared me off.

We always use Priceline with great results. We just returned from a 11 day stay where we had a full size from Avis for $14 a day + fees. Always book about 2 weeks out from Priceline and can always get something in the $12-$15 a day range. Priceline also ONLY uses in-terminal companies, so you just check in, walk across the street and hop in.

We used Alamo, scanned our reservation, walked right out the door at MCO and chose the car we wanted (key was in the ignitation) and left! Super easy! We used a code from the Entertainment book and got a great deal. Sign up with them and they also send you codes. We returned at the Car Care center at WDW (we wanted to use Magical Express when we left) and they took us to Epcot (minutes to check out) we will use them again.

just my opinion, but they're all fine. the airport is great, so are the cars there. If you have to go offsite for a better price, do it. They're never far and all the cars are fine. if you don't like what they give you, tell them right there.

I'm renting for the first time at the end of this month.

I got some great info from the Sept rental car thread on the Transportation board.

I'm currently booked with Alamo using Alamo's Insider ID, a Costco code, and an American Airlines code all in one.

Check out the transportation board. There's tons of great info there.
