Rent a Car or Book a Town Car?

We are doing a split stay between Portofino Bay at Universal and the Polynesian at WDW.

Right now I have a car booked for 4 nights at $250.00. This includes all taxes, fees, etc. but NOT the $15.00 per night parking fee that is issued by Portofino Bay.

I don't really think we'll use the car once we get to Portofino.

Is it possible to get a town car from the airport to Portofino then from Portofino to the Polynesian? Would this be two one-way trips or would/could it be counted as a round trip?

We will be using DME to head back to the airport when we leave WDW.

What would you do? Thoughts?

If the only reason you're renting a car is to get from one resort to another, I'd skip it and hire a car service. Most will do a grocery stop if you need to pick up a few snacks/drinks. There's really no need to have a car at USO. Same for WDW, esp at Poly. And they add 12.5% tax to the parking fee.

We've used Happy Limo to get to PC 3 times now and every time we had great service and they upgraded us from a stretch limo to a huge Escalade.

I'm not sure if they'd call it a round trip but call and ask. Also if you tell them you're a mousesavers.com reader, you get a coupon, varies with vehicles.
