Where did you read that DVC resorts were looking tired?? We've been to all of them fairly recently and none qualified for my definition of "tired." Sounds like sour grapes on someone's part![]()
I look tired after a week at WDW.![]()
irazabul, I hope you wrote to DVC and informed the BCV resort management of the problems during your stay. There is no reason for a unit to be in that poor of a condition.
Before a rehab cycle, you will notice normal use, wear and tear, but no unit should be available to members in the condition that you describe.
Personally I feel that some people go on their DVC vacations with the PURPOSE of finding something wrong with their unit. I know some people actually do have valid complaints but sometimes I think some go overboard!! I was just at BWV for over a week and didnt see any signs of serious paint problems but I know that others would find the ONE spot and rush back to these boards to post the horrible conditions. Also, while I was there I noticed that they were repainting the front entrance/valet-car area. I say great but others would post it as a problem. All I can say is that i'm glad these people aren't vacationing at my house!!
Take it all in with a grain of salt and enjoy your vacation!!!

I'm waiting for my paperwork to go through, so I haven't vacationed yet as a DVC member. I agree that if you don't tell the people who can fix things, they won't be fixed. If there a method or survey form for giving feedback to the DVC resort? Or should it just be a conversation with someone in the check-in area regarding anything that needs some attention.
thanks
