I leaving for Poly next week and I really want a renovated room. We have garden view booked. Can you recommend a building to request? I don't care about anything else as long as it's renovated. Thanks.

She had concierge and stayed in Hawaii. I know you asked for garden view. Hope someone helps you out. Have a fun time! :wave2:

I think Tuvalu 3rd floor was renovated - you should check out tikiman's website - he will probably have an update on what has and has not been renovated. Have a great time!

I think whatever room you get will be fine. You can always ask to get moved if you don't like it. We're going in Jan. Have a great time

My DH and I just got back this week, and we got over to the Poly to check it out. Spoke with a very nice Mousekeeper there, and she said that building number 11 was all renovated and even had flat screen tv's in the room. I don't know which bldg. that translates to though. Maybe someone else can help with that.

Hi landslide,

We were at the Poly last week and had a beautiful renovated room in Rapa Nuie (not sure I spelled that correctly ) 3rd floor balcony facing Tahiti. It was very spacious, clean and quiet. I was a little concerned about the walk to the GCH from here by looking at the resort map, but all the buildings are closer than they appear on the map. The walk to the GCH was maybe 5 minutes. The walk to catch the monorail at the TTC was less than that so it was extremely convenient.

If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

You will get a renovated room in:

Fiji (request 3rd floor marina side for a GREAT view!!!)
Tuvalu
Rapa Nui
Niue

Rapa Nui is far from the GCH (about a 5 minute walk compared to a 1 or 2 minute walk from the others) but is VERY close to the TTC if you want to hop a direct monorail to Epcot. We stayed in Tokelau in July 05 and Tahiti in June 2001 and I like the location of these buildings, but they haven't had the renovations yet.

I would highly suggest Fiji b/c the views on the marina side are breathtaking and they are considered garden view!!! Plus, they're renovated! Have fun!!!

Hi everyone! Just found these boards and I'm having a great time reading them, especially the picture thread. We went to WDW last month and stayed in Tuvalau and we had a renovated room with a flat tv. The room was nice and clean and bright.
Have a good trip.

I'm already planning my next trip for 2006 - Wilderness Lodge I think!

We stayed at Rapa Nui three weeks ago in a renovated room

4 min walk to the GCH. 3 minutes door to monorail door at the TTC!
