In your opinions which would you choose? And maybe why? Also, in Feb, what are the chances of getting an updated room? Thanks :)

Their both great for different reasons, but our favorite pick (and it cost you) is the GCH. We usually save the money and stay at DLH and while we're walking the extra mile (it feels that way) DH asked why we didn't stay at GCH again. We did stay there when our youngest was a year old and it was great with a small child. The rest would just stay in one of the parks and DH or I would take him back to the room for a nap. And if you get wet or chilly, the room is right there. You can use the hotels park enterance if you have a room key to one of the resort hotels.:thumbsup2 Storytellers Cafe is steps from the DCA park, it's great...but DLH has a lot to offer too. The new rooms are really nice and if you get a suite, you can see the firework, both parks and more. The Neverland pool is great and it's way better than the GCH's pool. Hard to sell either they are so different. If the monorail stopped in the GCH it would be hands down the only place to stay.:cool1:

Not sure where they are on the renovation, sorry.

I am thinking they will be about 1/3rd done with the renovations (one tower) in February. From that, you can gather what your odds are.

I enjoy all three hotel rooms and did PP and DLH pre-DVC. Now, I stay at the Grand in the villas and I am very spoiled with the convenience.

Oh geez...what to do??? I always had a rule that if I could get the DGC for less then 100 a day then the DLH I would do it, and I got it for only 60 a day more.
