renewing vows

Can anyone help? As a surprise to my wife I would like to renew our vows in Disney. We are going in December this year with our 6 year old son. Any tips?

If you have a date in mind, I would call DFTW and get your date reserved. When you say "surprise your wife with a vow renewal" what exactly do you mean? If you're going to surprise her within the next week or two saying that you've scheduled the date and time, that would be very romanic. But, not sure you would want to show up at Disney and say "oh, by the way, we're renewing our wedding vows on Tuesday". She might want some planning time to get a new dress, etc. The planning was part of the fun for me. Although, you know your wife so maybe she would be thrilled if she made all of the arrangements.

Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings - the have a whole department dedicated for weddings and vow renewals. Check out their website for info and prices etc www.disneyweddings.com it's a good starting point.

I have just reserved a slot to renew our vows - 10th anniversary. It will be at the Yacht and Beach pavillion at 5.30pm. Its a fairly short ceremony and will be me, the wife and the kids, folowed by dinner at the Yacht and beach club and hopefully and Illumination cruise - otherwise we may get the kids a sitter and use the limo to take us around the resorts - hehe.

I contacted www. disneyweddings.com direct and they have been excellent so far.
