renewing Florida APs with the monthly plan

Time to pick your brains. I cannot look up this info on the site as we are not yet 60 days out from our renewal. This is specifically about the payment plan tickets. We have the Weekday Select and our date is May 22nd. A couple of questions:
  • Is renewal just like getting the tickets in that you pay a one day, park-hopper price and the rest is put over the 12 month payments?
  • Where does the 15% discount come in? Beginning, end or spaced out?
  • When we renew, are the new tickets from that date, or is it like normal where they aren't valid until you use them the first time ? (ie if we renew at the end of May but don't use them until August, are the tickets a year from May or August?)
Thanks for any help

When you renew, you don't have to pay the down payment like when you started your AP. If you're paying say $30 a month for your AP, when you renew you'll just continue to pay that price.

The discount for renewing is that you're not paying the down payment. So essentially the 15% is taken right off the bat.

When you renew your expiration date remains the same date but changes the year. So if your current AP expires May 28th, 2018...no matter when you renew within your renew window..your AP will now expire May 28th, 2019. Doesn't matter if you renew your AP May 1st or June 10th, your expiration will be May 28th (or whenever your current pass is set to expire)
