Renewing AP/Park Discounts Question?

My Dad and I just renewed our AP. Will we need to get a new AP card to take advantage of discounts at shops/restaurants on property, or can we just show the card we already have?

You will need to get a new one. They usually put the expiration date on the back of the AP card.

They didn't give us a new card when we renewed. We haven't had a problem with discounts.

Have had many years and I always get a new one. The cards now have "years" on the back and when I picked up my card the CM wrote the exact expire date on it and my name. Come September, I renew, yes my card is okay until December at a glance, but after that the date is void.

I would never walk away from the desk without a new card and when I renew online, I still go to the desk and ask for a new card.

I always get a new card. Stop at any ticket booth or guest relations and request a new AP card. Some will try to tell you just use your magicband, insist on the card.

Desk may have been awkward word ... Guest Relations ... counter, window ...
