My renewal is coming up...If I renewed would I just keep paying the monthly amount or do they do the whole pay for a one day ticket the first day and then charge your first monthly payment the next?

You'll pay only the monthly amount, but it will be a bit higher because you are splitting the entire cost in the subsequent years.
