Renew EA Membership

Have been lurking but now have a question. Saw that I can get an EA membership through National web site for free. If I join EA, will National automatically renew my membership and charge my credit card each year? Or will National notify me and give me the option to cancel? Just want to know what I'm getting myself into. TIA!

First let me say Welcome to you!

I had the same question before I joined....didn't want to end up with a charge year after year if I wasn't going to be renting a lot!

It's a one time sign up charge (unless you sign up with the fee waived like National is offering now) and then you automatically renew year after year with no charge.

So, by all means take advantage of the free membership!

I got a free card 3 years ago and have never been charged for renewal. I heard somewhere that you have to use it at least once a year to keep it for free, but I can't confirm that since I have used it at least once a year.
