Can I renew my expired ap at the International Gateway at Epcot? It will expire about a week before I need it for our trip. Also, will I need the new one to check in with a BRP reservation?

You can get an AP at the parks, but if your AP has expired before that date, you won't get the renewal discount. It will just be the regular, full AP price.

I've not heard how the resorts are handling the AP discount for reservations for a while, check the resorts board for info.

Yes you can renew it at the International Gateway. This is where we normally do it for us. We have found the lines to be much shorter so the whole process goes by quickly.

"eeyoreiscool", were you able to get the renewal rate, and was there a time lapse between the expiration date and the renewal date? Mine will be expired about a week before I need to renew it. Thanks for the info!

You can get the renewal rate anytime within 30 days of your AP's expiration. Your expiration date will stay the same ( only plus one year ) anytime you renew it.

Example: Today is Jan 3, 2006.

If your PAP expired December 25, 2005, you can still renew it for the renewal rate until January 25, 2006. Your expiration date however will now be December 25, 2006.
