One of the nicest guys I know. He had ground breaking surgery at Sick Kids in Toronto that your little Andrew (what a cutie!) probably had.

A goalie??????

I kid around with my family saying that someday andrew will be a goalie, football player, or even wrestler! Something that involves hard core contact. Pass my web site along to him. There are many parents who love to hear from adult TOF survivors. It gives us hope, you know alhtough most of these babies end up fine, we tend to be so uncertain about the future. Well, if he has some time, So may parents including myself I am sure would have a ton of Q's for him!

Ok so no more excuses!
Today make one week I have not smoked.......... that part of my life is now overwith! Had a crazy week, emotion and food wise but, now its time to get back to business! pirate:

I havent posted the past few days cause I have just been so bad, yesterday however, I got back on my Tm and did 4.30 miles in 60 minutes and it was actually easy, wasnt gasping for air. etc. I actually feel the difference already!

Right now, it about 2 in the afternoon, I havent yet eaten, I have been busy cleaning the house and had to get on the TM while baby is alseep, I did another 4:30 in 60 minutes and still have to so some crunches. I plan on eating in just a few minutes, anyway, until later

OMG! I dont even know where to begin! Its late saturday night, I am soooooo emotional, I still havent smokined but I seriuosly cant stop eating! its horrible. I get so temptig sometimes to just have smoke, but I know so many ( most importantly my kids) are so happy for me. I am just so stressed out. I should go to bed.

Reread yhe part in your journal about being smoke free for a week!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: That is HUGE!!!!! Way to go!!! You did it!! You quit smoking!!!!!!!!
Give yourself some credit girl!!

Now, just take it one step at a time.....it is still a HUGE adjustment that your body is going through. Do what ya need to get through. Maybe getting some healthier snacks would help too. Celery with cream cheese is a favorite LC snack of mine!! Lots of crunch and tasty too!!

You will get through this!! We are all here to help!!!! Wishes of continued success and a beter week for you!!

Anyway, I was talking to hubby WHO sometimes is like talking to a wall! lol I told him my situation and that I needed his help! He keeps telling me look at all the things you have accomlpished you can do this! Now hes right and thats very nice of him to say but I am just weak these days! and I need help! So we chatting and he insisted like many other WISHERS, that I get on the TM every time I have to urge to eat. I saya s yea, its such a headache to pull out everytime I need it. SO we simply took it out and it is set up pluged in a ready to go at an given moment! lol. We also thought that perhaps, I should get up early in the morning and exercise. Perahps changing my routine around a little! SO I am off to bed and setting the alarm for 6 I am so NOT a morning person, but I may have to become one!

ANyway, starting over again tomorrow.

WOW! what a day!Illt ryit in a nut shell. Got up at 6 this morning hit the TM did 4.5 miles in hour. tried to get dressed I really mean tried! NONE f my pants fit! really no exageration! they really did not fit ...........ended up wwearing my onyl pair of strechy ones! YIKES great wake up call. I stayed OP today, had bacon and eggs for brunch
this evening had some Cx and brocoli.
Drank some decaf and ate some sunflower seeds. Smoking was barely even thought of today!

Anyway, got to get to bed, lots to do tomorrow.

Hi all, another great day!
With grim reality! I went back to work today, that was good, the bad news is when I tried to get dressed for work none of my clothes fit! Seriuosly! I must have gained alot! But I did get up this morning at 6 and stayed OP all day.
Had no BK but was out around noon time, stopped at BK had a whopper no bread and a few ORings.
This evening at work, I had a ceasar salad and a few slices of steak........ Ipicked on some sausgaes thru out the evening. I also bought some sugar free lifesavers, i had about 6of those and layed off the sunflowers seeds by alot today! I am going to leav them by the computer only now. I think the layer of skin on my mouth and on my tougne, are beinning to grow back! lol. the salt has eaten awway at it!

anyway drank lots of water and had some coffee.

well another good day to add to my list! that makes 3 consecutive ones! horray!

Anyway, I was not able to get up this morning to go on the TM. You see TOM is visiting and the backpain hit me HARD this morning, I actually did get up at 6 to run but my back hurt too bad. SO I went back to bed after I took some advil. Woke up around 7:30 and got the kdis ready for school. Went to work about 11 and ate a cx ceasar salad at about 2:30. By this time, I had drank 2 24 OZ water and had a few cups of decaf. After work had to run over to DD daisy's meeting then take DS to bday party. During the party , My Older DD and I did some clothes shopping. I resisted temptation to eat out and waited till we got home. We arrived home about 7:30 and hubby ran out and bought some cold cuts. I then had ham and cheese with mayo on a LC wrap. DUring the day, I did have about8 sugar free hard candies! As much as I would not like to still be eating these, they are a diversion from smoking. This evening I hit the sunflower seeds again, I have decided that this will be my last bag! Got to kick the habt before it gets bad! lol.
Anyway, all in all it was a good day!

Renee!! You are doing an amazing job!!! I'm just sooo proud of you for stopping the you know what...don't even want to mention the word! And WOW 4.5 miles in an hour...that's busting it! :) Sorry, TOM is visiting...I hate that back pain and bloated feeling...I feel like 12 weeks of the year you should just knock those off...I can't seem to control my eating at TOM and the exercise just makes my cramps worse...ick! Here's to a quick recovery from TOM and a good losing week for you!

Great job on quiting. You are doing fantastic. Definately get rid of the sunflower seeds unless you can control only eating a few at a time. They are definately addicting.

Yea, I gave up the seeds too! they were addicting! I had none today..............

For the most part, I had a good day,
this morning, I had 2 slices of LC bread with butter and a decaf coffee.
Met my friend for lunch @ wendys and had a cheese burger with mayo and a side salad and DPepsi.
This evening while at work I did not pick ! thats a first, I had a small bowl of homemade soup ( no pot/ noodles) just CX and veggies.
The before I left I had a cx ceasar salad.
Now I had a really hard time @ work everyone there smokes... I was so depressed comign home, something Had to give so I ate yeat another meal however not to bad....when I got home, I had a ham and cheese sandwich on LC bread. I hate to eat all the bread even though it is LC but it could have been worse, I also had about 3 mini famous amos cookies.,
I almost bought candy at blockbuster (and all they have are big size bags) vbut i didnt, so I screwed p but wasnt too bad!

Anyway, till tomorrow.....
oh yea, I didnt exercise either but hubby used the Tm and didnt pu tit away........ its in the way that means and I will get on it tomorrow!lol

Hi Renee--great job on not smoking. I see you're doing the 1/2 next year--I am still on the fence about trying again. I looked at the pics, and really want to have one of me at the castle, but I just don't know.

In other words I am either exercising alot and not eating right, or eating right and not exercising


that was the case this week, I only got on the TM twice but ate good all week. that is, until tonight, had friends over and made a lanagna and some G bread..... afterward, had some homemade cookies...........
Well tomorrow, I am back on track with some exercise.

What is it about sunflower seeds? Both of my brothers used to chew tobacco and both used sunflower seeds to kick the habit! Of course, both were going through lots of seeds too! Finally my brother got the idea to put big handfuls in his mouth at a time, pack them in his cheek, and then eat them. That much salt was too much for his mouth and he kicked his seed habit. You are doing GREAT with not smoking so I wouldn't sweat seeds just yet. :)

This weekend well, I have mixed feelings about!
As much as I would like to really say i am done smoking, I had a tough time this past weekend. I did not smoke but it was like I just quit again, it is so hard at work everyone I work with smokes!

Anyway food wise, I kept screwing up!
Saturday, started out good, I had my usual breakfast, no lunch then went to work. There I managed NOT to pick all night and when I was done working, had some chicken pizziola. No starches in that meal! However, this was the night, I was having difficulty not smoking so I got home and then had a boo boo. I had a sandwich on LC bread that was not tto bad although, I was suppose to be done eating. And when i was done with that, I had a ringding!

Sunday, woke up to eat some chocolate chip cookies, I began to set myself up to fail for the day cause we were having my daughters mc donalds bday party! I stopped quickly eating the cookies and had a slcie of LC bread with butter. At Mickey dees, I had my usual 2 double cheese burgers with no bread, but I did splurge on the fries and had some. A few hurs later, we went and had our taxes done. After that my hubby who never wants to go out to eat, wanted to go to fridays! I said sure, they have a LC menu. That went right down the drain when we arrived. the plan went out the window there. I had nachos and shared his app. then had a JD steak and mashed potatoes, we skipped dessert~! UNTIL that is, we got home! The he made ice cream shakes! Of course, I rationalized my whole evening. He has been woking day and night for a few weeks and will be doing that again thsi week. so whynot have a good time and eat everything!

today, I am off to a better start. I did finish the nachos I brought home a few hours ago. Not good but that is all I had so far, this evening we are off to a friends house to have a long time planned Breakfast for dinner! lol. So this evening, I will be having breakfast. My favorite LC meal of the day! I just finished 2 miles on the TM it took me everything I had to get on the TM. I am going to have to leave that darn thing out and in the way so that I get up on it more! lol.

Boy did my day just spiral downward! ouch not sure why.
I go to my friends for our breakfast for dinner meal and Dont know what came over me, I had toast and pancakes and regular loaded with sugar ice tea! I was craving a cigarette like you wouldnt believe, and I had a whole box of raisnettes!
MY GOODNESS...... I am so uncomfotable right now! Mypants fit me tight and I had to wear my hubby shirt ( mine are too tight) I am seriuosly thinking that I may have to smoke! I know it sounds dumb but it has to be the reason my weight has gotten this bad! I am a mess! Dont know how I didnt buy a pack on my way home, I just concentrated in getting home. I may have to put this quitting smoking thing on hold for a while, I really cant afford to gain anymore weight! I seriuosly have no clothes left tpo wear!

I dont know, I am so feeling dumped right now!
I am actually tired, I should just go to bed before I screw up even more.
