How have Remy and Palo dinners been since the restart? I have them booked for the first time for a cruise next month and can't seem to find menu's or anything online.

We did Palo dinner on the Wonder a couple weeks ago. It was a nice evening but there were a couple things that detracted from the experience a bit for me. First, since we were only the third sailing or so for the Wonder, I felt like our server was still trying to get the hang of things. He was very nice and well-intentioned but seemed uncomfortable talking about the menu. Second, the place was less than half full, which is good for social distancing but towards the end of our meal there only maybe three tables of people there, and I don't feel like we took an especially long time to eat, so it just got awkward. I'm pretty sure our server was literally only serving us the entire time, so we were always aware of him lurking waiting for us to have something for him to do. And third, the new pricing structure was actually more problematic than I had anticipated. Besides things like the antipasti cart no longer existing which was one of the things that made the meal feel fancy, we ran into an issue with the prix fixe menu vs the normal. My spouse wanted the prix fixe with the wine pairings. I also wanted the wine pairings, and 3 of 4 items from prix fixe, but a different main (the agnolotti, nothing too extravagant). I asked if they could still do the wine pairing if I ordered what I wanted a la carte, and they said they could but it would be purchasing four full glasses of wine, not the tasting sizes, which is just way more than I was looking to drink. In the end we both did the prix fixe, and ordered the agnolotti as an addition, but trying to sort all that out just took away from the overall experience.

If it is your first time, and you are on one of the ships that's been sailing for awhile now, you may well have an amazing time. I think most of my issues stem from the Wonder crew still getting sorted and a comparison to the old experience.

Yes- one of the things that made the Palo experience so special and sophisticated was not having to talk/worry about the price. :(

We did Remy and Palo at the end of August on the Dream. Thoroughly enjoyed both meals. We did the pre fixe at both with associated wine pairings.

We did add on a course at each. Waygu at Remy and pasta at Palo. The sommeliers at both included wine pairings with each of those extra courses even though they were not part of the normal pairings.

I’d highly recommend both.
