Having never used pepper spray what does it leave? Is it greasy or it just shows that it's there?

I would use the same thing I would for anything on the wall, careful to not rub too hard and take paint off. It's it's semigloss it's easier to clean. But without knowing what the wall actually looks and feels like, is it sticky? it's hard to say. I've never used pepper spray or been around it to know what it leaves behind.

Have you googled it? I would think there would be information on how to get it off of things including clothes that may help you figure out what to use.

Dish soap mixture should work.

Tell him to test the next one outside lol

I've looked it up and read magic eraser. its on her dorm wall and she's two hours away. I asked her why in the heck would she spray that. She had to go observe (leaves at 7:30 am) and she goes walking with another student but today the other girl didn't go, so dd was a lil scared so for protection . Its a lil over a mile there and back walking on her own so she wanted to test out the pepper spray she got for graduation gift to keep her safe at college. It made sense after she told me the entire story. At first I was thinking did she just do it cause she was bored, that's so outta character for dd just t0 spray something like that at the wall. She said she thought it would just spray out normal but it shot out like a firework. lesson learned. Thank god she didn't get it in her eye. I told her to look on campus for a pepper spray class so she knows how to use it and the dos and donts

Hahaha. I have a dd18 that is a freshman this year. As her parent I am just thinking it is nice that your daughter was being proactive and better safe than sorry.

I took a pepper spray class a long time ago. It does shoot out forcefully and goes a long distance. I was told to periodically test it out to make sure the nozzle isn't clogged or broken. It's best to spray it outdoors and aim at a fence or a wall in an out-of-the way spot. This gives you a feel for how it shoots. The idea is that you can hit an attacker from a few yards away who is running toward you, rather than waiting until they're right in your face.

Yeah it's a good idea to test it so you know it works and how it sprays ...just do it outside:-)
