Removing name from DVC membership?

Quick question... I am unfortunately going through a divorce right now and as part of the agreements, my wife is turning over the DVC membership to me.

my question is, what needs to happen in order to remove someone from the DVC membership? Also I have a little girl about to turn 6... when will she need to become a member on the membership?

Check with DVC MS Administration on the paperwork to have the name removed from the contract.
Your DD will not be eligible to become a member until she turns legal age 18.

You will have to file a new deed with the county and submit the new deed to Disney. That will cause the member account to be modified.

as others have implied, the membership is set up exactly as the deed it recorded...may need a quit-claim deed, not sure.

Same thing happened to me. My divorce attorney took care of everything to do with DVC and the deed and the new deed is just in my name.
