Removing a day from Trip

How difficult will this be? I already have our trip booked but need to change our departure day from Wed to Tue. (I called earlier but was on hold forever so I hung up). Has anyone had experience with this?

Much easier most times than adding a day. Once you get through, it shouldn't be a problem. As long as you are 45 days or more out for a package or 5 days more out out for a room only, there should be no change fee.

Based on your ticker, just be sure to do it within the next 4 days.

I had to do that for our upcoming trip in September It is easy. Just make sure you do it soon like the pp stated

With a room only reservation I was able to drop a night while there. It was just better for us to leave on Tuesday than Wednesday. I did it before 11am Tuesday morning. It was no problem and I was refunded for the night back to my CC. I wasn't canceling, I was modifying. When within the 5 day window for room only reservations you NEVER cancel, you modify. I wasn't able to go one weekend because of work I was within the 5 day window. I pushed back the trip 1 month and the following weekend I did cancel to wait for a better time to go.

Thanks for the responses! I moved our departure date up by one day with no prob. Also, I switched our departure flights with no problem too. For some reason, missing 5 days of school/work makes me feel better than missing 6. Weird, I know.
