You talking about my ? one's? Making sure so I don't put my foot in my mouth..
I don't remember seeing them either...but it was our first visit to Epcot and we will just thrilled and trying to absorb everything...

I would like to include both of them.

Universe of Energy is still there, it is on the left side, the show with Ellen and Bill Nye the Science Guy. Wonders of Life is the pavilion between Universe of Energy and Mission:Space. The pavilion is now only open during the busy Christmas period.

If there are a ton of people who haven't been to Wonders of Life, you could include something like the Fountain of Nations (aka the dancing fountain). I'm assuming you are trying to come up with a list of the same number of items as World Showcase? In that case, if we want to keep both pavilions and the fountain, you could also add Illuminations to the World Showcase list.

$.39 is a swap where we just fit what we can into an envelope that we no longer need and think someone else can get use out of it.. AlexWyattMommy can better explain how she plans on working it...

Oh, I'm not sure what SIOH and KAMommy mean by elements? Are we all making the same type of element (I thought I saw them talking about tags somewhere, but that might have been about something entirely different), or the traditional swaps where everyone makes a different element?

I was thinking of putting the Fountain of Nations and Illuminations in the show/parade swap coming up a few months from now..
The way I calculate it.. I have 11 for each WS & FW...

It is anything and everything you can stuff in an envelope for at least a $.39 stamp. Now last time some people used the padded envelope (like me) and then the postage was like $.50, no biggie 'cause I had a lot of little stuff I didn't plan on using.
You can pick themes you like, ie Disney, Holiday, Pet, Garden themed or specifics like-stickers, fiber/ribbon, eyelets/brads. You would end up with less of the brads/eyelets as they weigh more and lots more of the lighter weight items. I believe there was one in July/August if you do a search you can see what people asked/requested.
But here is the deal, it is supposed to be items you already have. You're not supposed to go out and buy new items. (unless for some reason you use every single thing you've ever purchased) And you aren't allowed to complain if you don't like what you rec'd.

So when the sign ups are posted, you post you want in and than PM your dis name, real life mailing info and wish list. I send your information to one person and you get someone ELSES wish list. And a wish list is just a guideline really. I mean if someone wants flower things, don't send them dog items.

Maybe it is like the pirate swap were there was list of elements and everyone choice one? So we don't end up with only bottle caps or journal boxes?

Exactly!!! I have so much to do..but than I get a swap withdrawl and my motivation goes..

My element swaps will be YOUR three choices of the ones on the list. I also plan on having a tags only for one of my swaps. With the sizes to be determined and everyone making those sizes. This way you will know in advance what size page it'll fit on.

Come on, Nancy - those of us swap fanatics don't need this reminder - we already have it marked on our calendars and/or have the dates seared into our brains!

As much as I loved Wonders of Life (and was THRILLED to be able to see Cranium Command when I was there this month) I think that most people who use swaps for future trips would not have this pavillion available to them. Epcot doesn't even put it on their maps anymore.

But I think most people would want (and take pictures in) Innoventions. It looks like you don't have that one on the list.

Thanks for the clarification! I have seen the dancing water, have not seen the other at Christmas, never been to the World at Christmas... Oh well... That is probably why I never heard of it!!!!

Oh yah!! I love file folders. Making them that is. I have no idea how to use them. Does anyone have a file folder in action photo?

So my elements will have the library pockets and file folders and envelopes as choices among the rest. I will be taking borders off my menu. Since some people scrap 6x6, the borders are useless to them.
