Reminder- Check your credit report!

I just checked mine and there are 3 tax liens on it that don't belong to me! I had to file a dispute but I'm glad I found them now, I wonder how the heck they got on there anyway?

Just a friendly reminder to check your report to make sure everythings right!

Good reminder. When my husband and I applied for a home equity loan, two outstanding loans showed up on my report. Neither one belonged to me. The bank has no idea how they ended up posting them to my name & SSN (the real names and SSN's weren't even close). The process to get them removed was such a pain. I now monitor my report very closely.
