Hi All,

Just a reminder if you use and liquid meds, nose sprays, eye drops that are liquid. We do the mail order thing, and none of the nose sprays, eye drops have the Rx on the label of the bottle. They conveniently had the labels on bags which had 3 month supply of the product inside. So, not good for me traveling, especially many months ago when I tossed the bags (before the no liquid thing).

I called the Rx service today and they are sending me labels for my drops, and nasal sprays. I'm not sure how long it will take for them to get here.
We don't leave til the end of the month. I just don't want to have to toss the stuff out, get a hold of my doc, and then go pay for them again at disney.

I was hoping the liquid ban would be lifted for our trip, but now I'm thinking no.

Don't forget to get the labels.

Connie

Good reminder. :thumbsup2
Hope your labels come in time.

Just an FYI, even before this mess I would cut the label from the bag and tape it to the bottle, tube, whatever.

If you ever have an accidental poisoning, it's incredibly important to ahve all of that information for Poison Control and/or the ER, and in an emergency it's a lot easier to just hand them the medication with the label then to try and recall the exact spelling of what can be complicated generic names that might have a different drug with a similar name, and for them to know the exact formulation for a liquid.

Anyone know if we can take a two-week supply of daily disposable contact lenses in our carry-on bag? They are sealed in little containers which have a small amount of liquid. I'm okay putting solution into checked luggage, as it can be rebought in Publix, etc., but lost contacts would be a major hassle. The contacts do not have prescription info on them. I guess I could ask the Dr. for a copy of the prescription to bring along--is that needed? 14 lenses for each eye might be less than 4 oz.--not sure.
