yea, I was in third grade, and I remember coming home and seeing it.

In new zealand it aired at about 7am, I was 11 and had just woken up to see the second plane hit... You know how much like a movie it seemed? I didn't understand =(

Yeah, they wouldn't tell us what happened at school because we were so young. And of course, when I heard about it, I didn't really understand.

I think now, something like that happening would just be devestating to me.

Actually when the planes struck WTC my cousin was on a flight that had to be grounded and it took another week and a half for them to start flights up normally and stuff. Ironically he was flying to his bootcamp for Marines...perfect time to join the service.
