Remember when the DS had Donald Dollars?

So glad I didn't buy something just to get the freebies. (Since I really couldn't find anything I wanted.)
I didn't feel bad at all -- the last time I was in the DS an off duty CM was trying to spend her Donald Dollars and was really put out SHE couldn't find anything to buy either!
She had planned on buying a DVD, and could not with the DD.
Now it's bad when a CM can't even find anything to buy in the store with a discount coupon and her employee discount!

I haven't been in a TDS in almost five months. I have no idea what they even sell nowadays.

Yes, I'm a sucker who bought enough to get the Donald $ - and someone please shoot me because I didn't even go back to try and spend them! I guess I knew it would be nearly impossible to find anothe $50 worth of stuff when it took almost 2 hours to find the $50 of stuff to get the Donald $.

I agree, there's not much there anymore. Seems like they're giving away alot of stuff, but not putting alot on sale. Maybe they are but I'm just not in there enough.

I'll stick to Disneystore.com every so often to see if I can catch an awesome sale, like the PJ pals for $4.49 a few months ago. Seems to be better deals that way.

I was at the DS on the last day of the digital dollars days and a woman saw me looking at an Eeyore flower pot thing and she asked if I would like her $25 coupon. I thought it was so generous and kind so I took it after asking like 4 times if she was sure and thanking her. Now surely, I would be able to find something! OK, here we were looking around the store and just couldn't find anything to justify spending $25 (after discount). So, I decided to give it to the next person I saw that was shopping around. So I guess I did a good deed as well as passing off the coupon LOL.

Seems like they're giving away alot of stuff, but not putting alot on sale.

I was in there today and there was plenty on sale. Pjs, nightgowns, snowglobes, princess dolls, seperates for girls, sport dresses for girls, bubble blowers, and the swim stuff is still buy 2 bet a third free. I'd say more in on sale than not on sale.

granted, you have to want to buy stuff for kids, b/c these items are for boys & girls.
