Remember when Disney allowed you to bring on as much alcohol as you wanted....

I’m still mad this policy changed. I don’t like beer or wine, I only like mixed drinks. I would bring a bottle of vodka for me and a bottle of rum for husband and we’d mix it with orange juice/coke to have in our room. I always get the drink of the day anyway, and husband drinks beer around the ship, so it’s not like they weren’t getting our liquor money elsewhere.

You and your husband were the exception to the rule. Most people had it outside of their cabins - and bragged about it on boards like these.

I think it was a very vocal minority... in general most people are rule followers. If not, I think Disney would be better about enforcement in all facets of their business.

When I sailed with Royal Caribbean, they didn't allow any alcohol to be brought on board. Any alcohol purchased in port had to be checked with the cruise line until the disembarkation day, which made for some chaos that morning. DCL's policy seems reasonable and fair especially if you drive to PC.

Weird.... I just went in January and brought 2 bottles of wine on a 6 day.
