"We don't have to take our cloths off, to have a good time, oh no, we could dance and party all night, and drink some cherry wine."

I just downloaded this because i heard it on the radio. It cracks me up really. What lyrics. Goofy question, but its fun to hear songs that you thought fell off the face of the planet.

God yes. I recall it being really popular during my days working at Chi-Chi's. It was a regular on the kitchen radio.:p

Yes! I remember that song! Who sang it though? And what year was it popular again? I'm gonna say mid-late 80's, maybe 1990?

I'm guessing 1985ish.

I had orginally thought it was DeBarge or LeBarge?? He was married to Janet Jackson for a short time.

I love that song! It kind of makes me feel better that I still love the cheesy songs I loved back then. I don't know why; it's not like that makes my taste any better. :)

I originally thought it was DeBarge too, but then I remembered that they sang the equally cheesy "Rhythm of the Night".:p I think that might be where the confusion comes in.;)

You mean the Rhythm of the Night DeBarge? Another great one. I also loved his "Who's Johnny?" hahaha

OMG! I heard that on the radio in the car on the way to pick up DS today. I flipped it on right as I got into the parking lot and was bummed that I had to get out of the car. I hadnt heard it in years. What a coincidence! :D

Yep, I remember that song too! I rank it right down there with the "wiggle it, just a little bit" song!

I saw, not too long ago, on one of the many VH1 specials that Jermaine Stuart died of Aids not too long ago. Sad, I really liked that song.

That's right. It was released during the height of the AIDS media coverage. It was the abstinence anthem with an ironic twist for the singer in the end.
